Taro Health is now Mending
A new name, a new look — the same commitment to you. We’re excited to share that we’ve refreshed our brand, and as of today, our company is now called Mending. This change includes a new name and new logo — but our mission remains the same: to provide you and your family with personalized, relationship-based healthcare that’s simple, human, and rooted in trust.
What you need to know
We’ve put together answers to common questions about what this change means for you:
- No disruption to service – Your health insurance plan remains fully intact, with the same coverage, benefits, and provider access.
- No new ID cards until 2026 – You will continue using your current ID cards through 2025. New Mending cards will roll out and be mailed to you in January 2026.
- Same people, same support – Your contacts, billing, and member portal access will remain unchanged.
You've got questions, we've got answers
- Q: Do I need to do anything? No action is required. Your coverage, benefits, and doctor access remain the same.
- Q: Will my member ID card still work? Yes. You’ll continue using your current card throughout 2025. New Mending-branded ID cards will be issued for the 2026 plan year.
- Q: Is my doctor or provider changing? Not at all. You’ll continue seeing the same trusted doctors and care teams in your plan’s network.
- Q: Will my plan or benefits change? No. Your current health plan, benefits, and coverage stay the same.
- Q: What do I do if I see the name “Taro Health” or the old logo? No worries! We’re still the same company, just in the middle of a name-change transition, and this is expected.
- Q: What if I have more questions? Contact our Member Support team any time at support@mending.com or (877) 522-5151.
Why Mending?
Mending is more than just a word; it’s an action. It means repairing, fixing, patching, and connecting things together. It represents care, craftsmanship, and the human touch.
These values are at the core of what we do. The name carries both a physical and symbolic meaning that reflects our mission. It represents our role in repairing and improving the healthcare experience for individuals and providers alike.
Health is a shared journey — and we believe that fixing what’s broken in healthcare starts with strengthening the connection between you and your doctor. We’re proud to keep supporting your health every step of the way.
Thank you for being a part of this journey with us. We're excited to move forward together—now as Mending.
