Important update on Mending Insurance in Oklahoma and Maine

After careful consideration, Mending has notified regulators of its plans to discontinue fully-insured Individual Marketplace Plans and Small Group Plans after December 31, 2026.

Nothing changes today: current Mending plans will continue through the end of 2026, so there is no change for current, active members right now.

Mending will continue to serve TPAs, large employers, and other health plan customers through the Mending Access product.

For Oklahoma members:
Mending is in the process of partnering with Community Care OK (CCOK) on a transition path starting 1/1/27. CCOK intends to create its own Direct Primary Care (DPC) plan for 2027 – very similar to Mending’s current plans – where DPC providers are expected to be in-network. We will share more when this is finalized, how to potentially transition, and ahead of Open Enrollment.
